This Blog is about my Life as a Carer.... and nothing else! Hopefully, maybe...... ?The purpose? Well it is therapy for me, allowing me to voice my stresses but hopefully it will give an insight into the life of a full-time carer.
as you say, with the insight, you can maybe do something about it. You are diabetic too aren't you? Can that cause mood swings?
Good luck tackling it, is there a carers support group around, someone to get on the blower to when you are feeling low?

Thank you Jack - I am very fortunate to have good friends like yourself who are a great support and encouragement to me - but I am sure there are many who dont have any support at all - -especially the kids who are carers for a parent.
I think of them at Christmas and wish them well.

hmph... if they do start paying carers, they owe me a lotta money... But it's true. It's terrible, and unfortunately, it doesn't look like it'll be changing soon... It sucks... meh... *hugs* more…
They save social services/children and families, too, i.e. when grannies take the children of parents who are not fit to care for them themselves. The allowance is pitiful and does not increase if a granny has to give up her own job.
It must be the most underrated "job" in the world. :-( more…
